Spa Party Ideas: Infused Ice Cube Recipes
It is so important to take a few moments and celebrate YOURSELF! One thing that I don't practice enough is self-care, and I am working on this goal every day. I have to take a few minutes (or maybe a few hours!) and relax. Read a book in the sun, dip my toes in the pool, or de-stress with a few cucumber slices on my eyes. One way to indulge in a little R & R is to invite your girlfriends over for a sparkling spa party! I wanted to host an event that would reward us for our recent hard work. My girlfriends and I are true go-getters. We are chasing around toddlers, working both day and freelance gigs, and we have BIG dreams. We have trouble getting together most times since we are just constantly on the go. The best way to kick back and remind ourselves to take a break is with a summer get together worthy of rest!
A sparkling spa party is not only refreshing for your well being, but it features cool down treats featuring Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water in Mandarin Orange plus Lemon Lime, Original, and Raspberry! I used to drink Canada Dry all the time, and I'm glad there are new flavors to sip on now. I try to avoid soda when I can, and I like that Canada Dry has a crisp and flavorful taste. It's just one way that I try to get in shape. I have been struggling with taking care of myself lately that I forget just what to do!
Not only is it important to practice self-care and relax every so often, but it is also such a waste to drink your calories. When I saw that Canada Dry Sparkling Waters have no sodium, no calories, and are unsweetened, I knew I needed to add it to my drink routine. While I shopped for the party, I thought about what my friends might want to enjoy. As I mentioned above, we so rarely get a chance to get together! I wanted to create a party that was relaxing yet energetic, fun yet not too busy, and offer simple snacks and appetizers so that this party hostess wasn't too tired to entertain!
To plan a simple summer party, I created a few recipes and DIY ideas to make your next get together with girlfriends both relaxing and rejuvenating!
Infused Ice Cubes
I have always been a fan of infusing water with fresh fruit and herbs, but I have never tried ice cubes before. I have seen it done before, but I wanted to see how it would work with a cute party theme. With the Canada Dry Sparkling Waters in mind, I created two sets of ice cubes for flavorful cool treats!
I found wide plastic ice trays and created raspberry mint ice cubes and rosemary ice cubes. Each of these cubes could be mixed and matched and paired with any of the Canada Dry flavors. I think that is what made it so fun! Everyone had a different flavor beverage!
I did have a special preference for the raspberry ice cubes with the lemon-lime sparkling seltzer water. It was a fruity bubbly drink that was perfect for a warm summer day.
Rosemary has a distinct flavor, and I thought it was a nice complement to the original flavor of this sparkling water. One of my favorite infused water recipes uses rosemary, mint, and lemon, so I knew these rosemary infused ice cubes would have a lot of options.

Sparkling Spa Water
Try sparkling spa water for another recipe idea (plus, it is Whole30 compliant!).
Juice Bar
I also set out fruit punch and grapefruit juice to use as mixers for non-alcoholic beverages for party guests. Create simple mocktails with Canada Dry! Here's a simple way to mix it up: 1 part fruit punch, 1 part Canada Dry Original, and a splash of grapefruit juice.
Cucumber Eye Facials
Did you know that cucumbers help soothe puffy eyes? Take a few minutes and let your party guests relax! I like to put my cucumber slices in the freezer before using.
Party Snacks
I'm a big fan of easy appetizers, and these cream cheese salami stickers are a breeze to make. I also took my favorite parts of a pizza (cheese and meat!), and turned it into a fast snack. You can buy mozzarella cheese sticks and wrap them with pepperoni, salami, or even prosciutto. Though, an even more refreshing snack adds a bit of cool cream cheese to the mix!
Spa Party Ideas
Set up a vibrant table with easy to serve drinks, snacks, party favors, and even candles to set the mood.
I used a bulletin board to tack up party photos from a fun instant camera.
Let guests take their own “selfies” at your party, and they can take them home with them as a party favor! Speaking of party favors, we decorated metal tins with rub on gold accents. I filled each favor tin with a planner, a cute pen, and a can of Canada Dry!
Everyone had a nice day in the sunshine while we sipped on our favorite sparkling beverages. Whether you need time to yourself, want to host a party for your friends, or just need a flavorful beverage to enjoy, try Canada Dry Sparkling Water in Mandarin Orange, Original, or Lemon Lime!
