Spiked Blueberry Lemonade | Outdoor Entertaining Recipes
Now that the daylight hours are long and the temperatures are warm, it is time to move parties outdoors. What are you celebrating this weekend? Are you having a beach day or catching up on grocery shopping? I am celebrating my new found freedom from a desk job, and I’m looking forward to a weekend where I figure it out. I don’t have to develop a plan just yet, but I want to recharge and refresh. I want to enjoy a few drinks, like this spiked blueberry lemonade, and work on myself.

As for the recipe I contributed to that collection, this blueberry bubbly blend is a refreshing mix on a fruity cocktail. It’s not a mimosa, but it has the same effervescence and flavor of a sweet afternoon drink. In fact, I made this and drank it during brunch.
Perhaps the best part about this recipe is it really only needs two ingredients–the fresh blueberries are optional.

I’ve made a lot of cocktails before, but I’ve never tried one with blueberry. It is usually not my favorite fruit choice, but I have to say that the lemonade flavor really made it worth my while. I thought it was refreshing, and the champagne was a good match for the sweet flavor of the lemonade.
