Peanut Butter Popcorn Recipe
I am all about enjoying time outside this summer. Whether it’s hanging out by the pool or sitting out on the pier watching my husband teach my son how to fish, there is no better place to be right now. Though, every day can’t be a romp through relax-ville. Lately I’ve been busier than ever, and I spend my days running errands, writing, taking photos, while trying to keep my house presentable. My energy spikes in the morning after a cup of coffee, but I find myself ready for a nap at about 3 p.m. It never fails. That afternoon slump can only be cured by some caffeine and a sweet snack to enjoy on to go! When I was pregnant, I developed a strong relationship toward Snickers. I always had a bar in my bag or in my desk at work. Nowadays, I just love the SNICKERS® 2-to-go Peanut Butter Squared. They are so filling and give me what I need to make it through daycare pick up and dinner prep. It’s what I need to unwind after a long day. Though if you’re looking for a fun way to enjoy both sweet and salty flavors, try this Snickers® Peanut Butter popcorn recipe for a fun snack on the go!
I started preparing the peanut butter squares for the food processor. I chopped each square into eighths.
Just in case you wondered what the inside looked like…
I used my food processor on the chop setting, and I let it run for a few seconds. I wanted the candy to stay chunky with lots of yummy texture.
I melted chocolate and poured out about eight cups of popped popcorn. Then, we got to work!
We drizzled melted chocolate while stirring, and then added the SNICKERS® Peanut Butter 2-to-go. I placed it in the refrigerator for thirty minutes or so, and I was then greeted with the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and peanut butter!

You can also choose to do this process on a large baking sheet covered in parchment paper. It’s less messy that way! I just stirred everything up in a large bowl. The results are the same. 😉
This is totally coming in the car with us on our next road trip! We are off to Lego Land this weekend, and I can’t wait to check it out.
Are you going on any road trips this summer? What’s your favorite on the go snack?
