Cinco de Mayo Party Ideas
Planning a Cinco de Mayo party or a Taco Night? Here are a few ideas to get spicy! Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of mixing up a few Mexican-inspired cocktails and dishes. While I’m not hosting a special fiesta this year, I do have a few suggestions for YOU! Break out the bubbly, chop a few jalapeños, and let’s get ready to party!

Hot Corn Dip
The dip in the middle was the hit of a past party. I used this corn dip recipe, but I didn’t have some of the ingredients so I changed it. It was still amazing!
Hot Corn Dip
A delicious dip for Cinco de Mayo!
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterrey Jack
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- A LOT of garlic powder (I used Johnny's Garlic Spread)
- 1 drained can of corn
- 1 small tomato
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a baking dish.
- Heat in a 350 degree oven until bubbling.

Well, I gave this mustache cake a try. It came out okay. You take a round cake and carefully make a wavy line to chop it. Think a ying yang! Re-combine the cake to look like a mustache and enjoy!
