Mixing and mingling takes on a new meaning with the holiday season…especially when it comes in the form of mixed drinks! I like to prepare large quantities of punches and sangria pitchers to share with holiday guests, and this year will be no different. I usually combine fresh fruit with citrus flavors for a yummy twist on classic cocktails. This year, we are stirring up this tangerine vodka punch to share!
To get started, you need fresh fruit (limes are a good option!) and Tropicana’s Tangerine Lemonade which is PERFECT for at-home mixology. Just call me your resident mixologist! 😉 They are the perfect partner for social gatherings and make mixing up your next drink easy! Plus, they have no artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors. If you can’t find this at your local store, look for another tangerine juice.
My idea for this holiday get-together was a simple vodka punch bar. With four flavors of vodkas and two different juices, guests can mix and match their perfect combination. As a thought starter, we paired the Tropicana Tangerine Lemonade with vodka and extra lime juice.
Tropicana’s Tangerine Lemonade (or Watermelon–another fantastic Tropicana premium drink!) adds a perky punch to any cocktail. So I set out the Tangerine Lemonade, along with some elderberry, lemon, and regular vodka for our guests to sample and create their own cocktail.
Here’s how to make the cocktail I decided on!
- Tropicana Tangerine Orange, 2 parts
- Vodka, 1 part
- Fresh limes, sliced to garnish
- Fill a tall tumbler with ice.
- Add your favorite vodka and top with Tropicana Tangerine Orange.
- Garnish with fresh limes.
