Once I had my supplies, it was time to PARTY!
Coke Cupcakes
These chocolate delights are not only adorable, but they are tasty. Devil's food cake (or any chocolate cake mix) will do. In fact, I made a Cherry Coke cake before, and it was such a fun treat. This time I wanted to make soda shop-inspired cupcakes, so I mixed devil's food cake with a can of Coca-Cola.
You can frost these babies with fudge frosting and add some red sprinkles for fun. I also used striped straws (cut into one-inch pieces) to make these cupcakes look more like a “soda.” The recipe is simple, and you can enjoy this dessert in no time!

DIY Coke Bottle Cap Magnets
If you're looking for a fun craft to do on commercials or for those who aren't particularly interested in sports, make bottle cap magnets. There are SO many things you can do with bottle caps, and I actually used to collect them. You can make mini wax candles, magnets, or use them in other crafts. I just love reusing items around the home for crafts.
For this DIY, all you need are bottle caps, super glue, and magnets from your local craft store. Note: You will need THICK or “tall” magnets so that the magnets will reach the fridge and stick.
Once dry, you can use to hang on the fridge or even a whiteboard. Add personality to your organization with custom magnets. The possibilities are endless!
Candy Buffet Party Tablescape
Set up a colorful candy buffet with Coca-Cola vases in a hurry! Use apothecary jars to fill with vintage candy (we used candy ropes, gummy fish, and hard candies) and had popcorn and cotton candy. We were going for a retro vibe since the Coca-Cola cupcakes reminded us of a soda shop! You can combine the popcorn and cotton candy together to create a carnival-themed snack too.
We set out Coke in aluminum drink tubs to match the theme, and I used red carnations to fill Coke bottles.
If you ever are decorating a table for a party, consider reusing glasses or other bottles. It's a simple way to add flair to a centerpiece.
Party Snapshots
I can't get enough of how much fun the party was with all the extra details. The carnations are also a fun touch. Sometimes they remind me of high school (they used to hand them out for special occasions), but they areย a cute way to add color to a party.
We also set out different dips (including a crab queso dip and buffalo chicken dip) which are a must for any tailgate party.
I'd love to hearย your favorite tailgate treats.
