Sometimes my husband surprises me with quick weekend barbeques with my favorite flavors. We usually do hot dogs and steak, but occasionally we will do seafood. When I received a package from Epicurean Organics, I was so excited to try their grilling herbs. From chicken to shrimp, the flavors would become the star of our meal.
Here’s how we grilled quick shrimp skewers for a BBQ. The grilling herbs include organic garlic, organic rosemary, organic black pepper, organic onion, organic thyme, and organic herbs. The combination was unique and now I don’t have to grab 10 different spices off the rack. The proportions of each spice were perfect, and all together, it created a delicious shrimp skewer in a hurry.
We used skewers and added three shrimp per stick. We then seasoned each skewer using the grilling herbs. While on the grill, we used a brush to add melted butter to each skewer. My husband is kind of the ruler of our grill, but this was simple enough that I could do it myself. We like to use this rack on top of our charcoal grill since it makes cooking multiple skewers easier.
