Kiwi Mint Infused Water

I sometimes forget to eat lunch. I know that is never a good idea, but sometimes I Can't help it. I end up running an errand and don't make it home until dinner, or I plow through my day to meet a 5 p.m. deadline. Sometimes I cook lunch for my son, and I forget that I don't really want a toddler style version of mac and cheese. I end up going without or eating too much at dinner time. I've made a conscious effort to be a bit more intentional with my time lately, and that includes waking up earlier. I start my day with a glass of water, map out my hours in my planner, and I meal plan three meals a day.

I put mint in just about everything. I am actually growing my own mint in my very first garden! I am so excited to infuse this flavor into my recipes, and the very first way that I tried my homegrown mint was in an infused water.

Kiwi Mint Infused Water

Kiwi is my favorite summer fruit, and I thought it would taste great in a tropical-inspired water. I recently had pineapple water, so I knew that kiwi would be a good fit too. Serve over lots of ice, and you can enjoy the refreshing flavor of summer in a glass!

Kiwi Mint Infused Water

Water is more fun when it's fruity. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also have special water bottles with “baskets” that let me store sliced fruit in. If you have those, try pairing kiwi and mint! You can also make individual servings in cute mason jars. Add a cute striped straw, and you're on your way to being more hydrated! This infused water pairs so well with the chopped lettuce, cheese, and chicken. The bistro bowl is packed accordingly and has all of the ingredients separate. You won't have to worry about soggy lettuce in this set!
