Clamato Limón Michelada Recipe
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Clamato®. The opinions and text are all mine.
There’s more to brunch than a Bloody Mary. Micheladas are a fun way to add flavor to your weekend, and you can spice it up with this recipe featuring Clamato® which sparks the moment!
This is not the first Michelada recipe on my site, but it is the first time I have used Tajin seasoning and Clamato Limón. I’ve previously used Clamato Original in my Micheladas, but I’m glad I branched out this time with Clamato Limón for an added citrus flavor. Micheladas can upgrade your summer with an extra dash of spicy seasoning.
If you have never had one before, you’re in for a treat. It is the kind of cocktail that opens up your senses and can cool you off on a hot summer day! Feel alive this season as you celebrate and share good times with your friends and family members. Make memories with Micheladas and backyard gatherings and make time for conversation.
To prepare this Michelada recipe, I started with a quick trip to Publix. Publix is a Florida favorite, and we have one on nearly every corner. In addition to fresh produce and BOGOs, we like to shop at Publix for hard to find ingredients and quality meat. I also was able to find Clamato in the juice aisle. I also got some beer, RealLime, and Tajin seasoning to complete my shopping list.
You can recreate this recipe and enjoy a BOGO offer for Clamato at Publix on June 28th, 2018 through July 3rd, 2018. If you’re not down with the Publix lingo, that’s buy one get one free! Publix can help you maximize your grocery budget when you shop the BOGOs and plan ahead. Get ready to say CHEERS with your bestie when you make these Micheladas this season. To get started with your recipe, run lime across the rim of the glass you are using. Dip the rim in Tajin to coat. Add ice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, and habanero pepper sauce.
Fill with Clamato Limón and your favorite lager style beer. Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy!
Micheladas can be a lot of fun when you let your guests get creative with their flavors and garnishes. Limes? Sure! Bacon shrimp garnishes? OK! Change up the beer to another style? Sounds good! Micheladas can be as unique as the guests at your party or as simple as this recipe below:

These long summer days are a good excuse to get together with friends, make memories, and share Clamato Michaeladas. I’m already trying to plan our next brunch with a Michelada bar so that guests can create their own drinks with their favorite ingredients. We are trying to get in the habit of having one night a month where it is a friendly dinner party where families are welcome. The kids can play while the adults can sip on their favorite drink and enjoy the sunset!
How do you enjoy the summer season with friends? Do you have a go-to cocktail recipe? I’d love to hear if you’ve tried Micheladas before and how you enjoy them!
