My husband is kind of a creative cook. You never know what he will dream up! He had an idea to try making bacon hot dogs. It was a simple way to cook a summer dish, and we found all of our ingredients at Walmart.
Walmart grocery pick-up makes it simple for summer entertaining. Less time shopping and more time preparing for your guests! I found Ball Park® Hot Dogs and Ball Park® Hot Dog Buns for our recipe.
We first wrapped these hot dogs in bacon. It was a simple process, and we used toothpicks to secure the bacon to the hot dogs.
We also used batter to dip our dogs in. A fast frying session (you can also grill them without the batter or just use a skillet to fry) transforms these everyday hot dogs into something extraordinary!
Once our hot dogs were cooked, we slipped them in a Ball Park® Hot Dog Bun. Topped with pepper jack shredded cheese, ketchup, and relish, these hot dogs are a summer sensation.
To cool off when you enjoy these hot dogs, we turned to the NEW Lipton® Herbal Tea Bags. In both strawberry and mango, they were a refreshing option for summer!
We like to make “sun tea” which is when you brew tea outdoors. We live in Florida, so we can do this mostly year round.
