Ahi Tuna Ceviche & Cucumber Salad

This is a sponsored collaboration with Mizkan and the Forward Influence Network. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My husband can be quite a creative chef. He loves to use fresh ingredients to create unique dishes to share. When we partnered with Mizkan to test out their variety of vinegar, we wanted to turn a family-favorite appetizer into something with an Japanese flair! Not only do we share a ceviche recipe for you to try, you can also make a cucumber salad to pair it with!

We love ceviche and with a few ingredient swaps, we were able to enjoy ahi tuna with the flavor of Mizkan vinegars and sauces. We headed out to Walmart to buy Mizkan Natural Rice Vinegar and Mizkan Mirin. These two will be the perfect flavor for your stir fry recipes, chicken dishes, or a ceviche like this one.

With a pound of ahi tuna, cucumber, serrano peppers, red onion slices, bok choy, cilantro, lime juice, and soy sauce, you can recreate this at home. The shining star ingredient is, of course, the Mizkan vinegar and sauces. You can click here to find out where to buy them in your area, and get ready to make authentic Japanese recipes at home easily! They are the secret ingredient that you need to bring Japanese food and flavor to your dinner.

Did you know that Mizkan is the #1 Rice Vinegar Brand in Japan*? (which has only recently been launched in the U.S.).

*INTAGE SRI. Rice Vinegar Accumulated Sale Revenue 2014 – 2018.

You can use it on hot dishes or cold dishes, like our recipe below. It pairs well with making sushi, marinades, salad dressing, or in your own creations. Plus, I like that it has zero fat and no calories. No guilt here!

If you like tuna poke or ceviche, you will love this! Follow the instructions to make your very own ceviche.
