One of the messiest rooms in our home is the playroom. No matter how hard we try, our toddler LOVES to get into everything. His toys are everywhere: in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the BATHROOM. He is old enough to learn how to put things away, and today brings a new set of responsibilities: playroom chores! I promise to make sure that we keep our little home tidy with the help of this printable chore chart and a handy spray mop.

There are FIVE main responsibilities for our playroom that I am going to hold my son, my husband, and myself accountable for each day. They are quite simple really: pick up toys, sweep, dust, wipe down any toys/counters that need attention, and MOP. Yes, mop. But, not a full on mop and bucket. That wouldn’t be time-efficient. We are going to use OCedar ProMist on a daily basis to help keep our toddler traveled and dog flopping floors in ship shape.

It’s easy to use and store, and in fact, we are going to keep it in the playroom ready to roll so that we can always have shiny and clean floors!

I found the ProMist in the mop and broom aisle near the cleaning supplies at my local Walmart. They had refills available too!

What drew me to the ProMist was the microfiber pad that has a built-in scrub zone. It makes it VERY easy for our busy family to use and even my toddler can help push it around to clean!

To start with getting our playroom organized, I created a “Playroom Perfect” chore chart. I listed six days of the week and the five main goals for the day: pick up, sweep, dust, wipe, and mop. I laminated it and hung it in our playroom to hold us accountable. Just use a dry erase marker and you’re good to go!

Our playroom has a lot of floor traffic since it’s also where our dogs play, eat, and nap. So, daily mopping is necessary to keep our floors free of debris.
