Creative Party Ideas: Rustic Chic Party Inspiration
One of my favorite things about living in Florida is the ability to enjoy fall weather outdoors! This is the BEST time of year to go camping, or “glamping,” since the humidity is lower and it is not so hot outside. In fact, glamping on the water or at the beach is JUST what I had in mind for our recent family get together. My husband can kind of work crazy hours and I also work somewhat strange shifts online, so it is nice when we have a weekend day off together to relax and unwind. One way that we can spend time together without a lot of fuss is with a fun glamping party. Whether you are planning an event for your girlfriends, a birthday party, or want a romantic night “in,” try glamping!
Glamping is just like camping with a bit of flair. Comfort is key but so is sweet touches to personalize your experience. Anyone can pitch a tent and camp, but it takes creativity to style a true glamping experience. That’s why it’s so much fun for a party since you can whip up fun recipes, relax around the fire, and snuggle up under colorful sheets and blankets!

Supplies
Some of my favorite flatware and versatile dining options come from Walmart. Bold patterns and bright colors are kind of my favorite, and they can transition easily from the kitchen to the campground. I look for durable plastics along with reusable stemware. I always make sure to pack tablecloths for picnic tables of benches if we are camping away from our home, and I never forget utensils. One neat option to add to your glamping experience is this s’mores holder!
Cook three s’mores at once over a warm fire for a toasted experience!
Set the Location
I also make sure to have lanterns, battery-powered LED candles, and flashlights too. The more the merrier! I also like to enjoy the water since we DO live in Florida. The beaches near our home have docks, waterways, and more. Avoid mosquitos with a citronella candle!
Serve Pizza
To prepare this pizza while you glamp, follow these simple instructions. Make sure to keep your pizza frozen prior to grilling, which is easy since we always pack a cooler for our camping adventures. Preheat your grill on high for at least five minutes. Make sure to remove the pizza from the carton and also remove the clear wrapping. Place a DOUBLE layer of aluminum foil on the grill (large enough to cover the bottom of the pizza) on the center of the grill. Place the pizza on the foil, and cook for about 13 to 16 minutes on LOW. Close the lid.
Let the pizza stand two minutes before slicing and serving. It’s important to remember that the pizza is done when all the cheese is melted and the bottom of the crust is golden brown.
Every slice of pizza was perfectly cooked with a warm gooey cheese on top! I’m kind of a ranch dressing-a-holic, so I knew that this pizza would go perfectly with my classic sriracha ranch dressing. I make it every chance I get!
To re-create this dip, mix together your favorite ranch and sriracha sauces. Or, you can add a bit more flavor with this simple recipe.

This dip is delicious on its own, with pizza, french fries, and more!
Fire it up with S’mores
Turn up the heat with these warm and minty s’mores! Fall and winter flavors, like pumpkin and mint, get moved to the top of my list whenever I’m preparing for a party (or a fabulous glamping experience!). Using that nifty s’mores tool above, we made a big batch of mint mocha s’mores. Chocolate gets an upgrade with mint morsels!
I used Honey Maid graham crackers in both original and chocolate, and grilled s’mores are a fun way to recreate the classic recipe.
To prepare your own mint mocha s’mores, use jumbo marshmallows, graham crackers in your preferred flavor, chocolate bars, AND mint semi-sweet morsels. Toast your marshmallows over an open flame and add to a graham cracker when done. Top with a chocolate square and sprinkle mint chocolate chips. The heat from the marshmallow will ever so slightly melt your chocolate!
Glamping can be a lot of fun! Be spontaneous and set up a glamping party in your backyard, the beach, or at a local campground. Bring enough snacks to party and soak up the sun!
I’d love to hear about your favorite ways to “glamp” outside.
