Thanksgiving Festivities Art Printable
After the turkey is gone and you’re totally stuffed, what do you for the rest of the day? If you’re anything like my family, Thanksgiving dinner is early. We watch the parade, have a few drinks, and are done eating by 3pm. Instead of napping, I like to do activities. When I was much younger we would stay up late playing card games with the family or watching holiday movies.
Other family get-togethers involved horseshoes or competitive matches of croquet. Now I’m thinking that after dinner drinks with friends who are in town sounds ideal! Late night fondue and wine tasting or head outside for a game of ladder ball (or “redneck golf” depending on what part of the country you live in!).
Add in a festive punch, and you’ve got yourself a party.
The wine flight for tasting is my favorite on the collage. I think that would be very fun after a day of hanging out with the family. A few sups of wine to find a new favorite!
The Turkey Day Punch was inspired by a “mock-tail” recipe found on AllRecipes.com. I added a few ingredients to make it, well, alcoholic. 😉 It looks really good. I think this is one that is on the “To Try” list.
