Tips For a Day at Zoo Atlanta

Quick tips before you go:

  • Grab a CityPASS to save on admission to the zoo and other local attractions!
  • Keep in mind some of the children's activities cost extra! Also, when we visited, the rock climbing was not open. Be flexible and have a plan so no one is disappointed.
  • We had trouble finding food that was open for lunch. This may have been our fault, but we walked to two restaurants inside and they both were closed (the week after Christmas after 12pm). It looked like only the food track in the back was open and the front snack area (popcorn, slushees, etc.)
  • The gift shop was also closed for remodeling.
