In fact, Dubai is home to some of the worldโ€™s tallest and most iconic buildings across the globe. This is all thanks to the focused efforts of the top construction companies in the world. Arabtec Construction LLC 

Composed of a number of subsidiaries, Arabtec is definitely one of the largest and top contracting companies in Dubai. The company focuses on the construction of infrastructure, power, gas, residential and commercial installations as well as property management. 

With revenues of over $4 billion at present, the company was founded by Riad Burhan Kamal back in 1975. The company, which is based in Dubai, became the first construction company to be listed in the Dubai financial market back in 2005.  

Examples of some of their projects include the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the expansion of Dubai International Airportโ€™s Terminal 1 and 2. 

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCECME)

As of November 2020 the company is listed in the Dubai financial markets, with a market capitalization of around $2.5 billion. The Emirates Contracting Company was estimated to have revenues of up to $4.5 billion by the year 2022.

Al Jaber LEGT Engineering & Contracting (ALEC)

The Al Jaber Group, which employs more than 50,000 people, is one of the largest multi-dimensional construction companies in the UAE. ALEC is part of the Al Jaber Group. The company focuses on a variety of industrial and trading ventures, in addition to construction. 

ALEC is the groupโ€™s construction company, founded in 1999 and based in Dubai. Over the years, the company, which employs around 14,000 employees, has worked on a variety of impressive projects, such as airport terminals, commercial, residential, hospitality and retail developments among others. Some of their completed projects include, Dubai Hills Estate Regional Mall, Oasis Hospital, Jumeirah Living Marina Gate and many more. 

Six Construct 

A subsidiary of the Belgian giant Besix Construct, Six Construct is a construction company created in 1995 with the aim of being a multidisciplinary building contractor in the Middle East.
