But many hazards come with it as well. Hazards that can affect our wellbeing if we don’t carefully guard against them. This is partly because the technology we are using is designing to grab our attention and hold onto it. 

Remembering a time when we didn’t use technology quite as often might seem like living in the past, but it’s more like living in the present. When we are on social media, browsing the Internet, or watching a mediocre TV show on our streaming service, we do not pay attention to the real world around us. Furthermore, we are influencing our mental and emotional wellbeing by exposing ourselves to unnecessary stresses.
