School started today in our county, and my social media news feeds are full of photos, school supply checklists, and school uniforms. My son starts school on September 1st, and so I have been stocking up on essentials too. However, I have learned that sometimes it is nice to pay it forward and surprise your child’s teacher with something too! Whether you have yourself, your child’s teacher, or a friend who needs a pick me up, try making this simple care kit. Be happy and healthy this season!
Create your kit in a cute basket like this metal one or look for a wicker container. The key is to find a container that is easily stored or can be reused for organizational purposes in a classroom. I also like to tuck in clear acrylic containers as a special bonus.
These ChapStick tubes fit nicely inside along with colorful memo pads.
A few other goodies include ThermaCare heat wraps, Advil, and Emergen-C. These are such lifesavers for busy teachers! ThermaCare helps sore backs after standing all day, Advil for unexpected headaches, and Emergen-C gives you the boost of Vitamin C you need.
Pink Lemonade is my favorite Emergen-C flavor since it’s a fun fizzy flavor to add to water.
