July 4th Cricut Crafts: Patriotic Candle Holders

July 4th is just around the corner, and weโ€™re getting ready for the festivities by making these patriotic candle holders! This project is so simple, and the results are so pretty! All you need to make these candle holders are a few materials, and a little time. Even if youโ€™ve never used a Cricut before, these patriotic candle holders are a quick and easy project that youโ€™ll enjoy making.

July 4th Cricut Crafts

To get started, pick up a few supplies at the Dollar Tree. You can find these glass votive candle holders and star votive candles at the Dollar Tree or your local craft store.

You will also need red and blue vinyl, transfer tape, and acetone along with your Cricut machine.

Hide all the red elements of the design using the eye icon next to the element in the right menu.

Select all the blue elements and weld them together.

Show all the red elements of the design and hide all the blue elements. Select the red elements and weld them together.

Hit the Make It button and load the color vinyl displayed first on the screen onto your cutting mat. Cut the design.

Remove the vinyl from the cutting mat and place the next color on the mat. Cut the design.

Use your weeding tool to remove the extra vinyl from around each design.

Place transfer tape on top of each design and transfer one color to the front of the glass candle holder.

Then, transfer the other color to the candleholder, centering the design before pressing it in place.

Place the star candles inside each candle holder.
