Fill your home with miniature holiday trees when you give this wine cork mini tree craft a try. This craft is a wonderful way to bring some winter beauty indoors, and can be done in just minutes. Take a peek below at how to craft your own wine cork mini trees, perfect for your holiday decorating. We all know I have quite a few corks handy! 😉
Supplies needed:
- Wine corks
- Sharp tool for poking (pencils or sewing needles work great)
- Hot glue, glue gun
- Fresh pine branches {Look for branches that are thin and that could easily fit in a pencil sized hole.}
Directions:
- Begin by poking a hole in the top center of your wine cork. We used a knitting needle and simply applied some pressure to create a hole.
- Add a dab of glue directly into the hole.
- Take the pine branch piece and clean it off around the end. Remove any needles so just the stem is exposed.
- Poke the pine tree stem into the cork. Hold it in place until it is secure.
Your wine cork mini tree is now ready to be displayed. You can create a grouping of these and display them on a fancy tray, or put one at each place setting for your holiday meal. If you wish, you can even glue on some glitter or tiny paper ornaments!
