The best way to welcome spring is with a thorough cleaning! Whenever I begin my spring cleaning routine, I have to make sure that I have the right tools in my home. Cleaning supplies that are affordable and useful are always at the top of my list. I also like items that are all-purpose. Instead of having one cleaning supply for this surface and another for that one, it’s way easier to find something that can do more than one thing! I recently found Palmolive® Multi Surface Dish Soap at Walmart which is perfect for both dishes and kitchen surfaces! To celebrate spring’s arrival (and of course to get my kitchen clean!), I created these colorful washi tape kitchen utensils that can be cared for by Palmolive® Multi Surface!
I first had to pick up my supplies at Walmart. I found the Palmolive® Multi-Surface Dish Soap in the dish detergent aisle. It was right on the top shelf!
This dish soap kills 99.9% bacteria and can be used to clean the dishes and also on surfaces in your kitchen! Talk about a time saver.
Something creative that I decided to do on a whim to spice up my kitchen decor for the spring season were these washi tape wooden kitchen utensils. I try to replace some of my everyday utensils every few months or so due to wear and tear. I picked up a few wooden utensils and two rolls of washi tape and got to work!
I looked for two complementary patterns that would be fun for my kitchen!
Use the tape to create stripes or long lines. You can cover the entire utensil or just the tops or bottoms. You can use scissors to make thin stripes with the washi tape too.
A whisk goes from everyday to extraordinary with a bit of washi! You can gloss over the tape with acrylic to help seal it. Palmolive® Multi Surface Dish Soap is strong enough to clean all of your dish ware (including these wooden utensils!), but it’s gentle enough to clean over the washi tape. Yet, it’s also strong enough to get your kitchen surfaces clean in a hurry.
If you’re ready for a bit of color in your kitchen and are ready to clean both your dishes and your kitchen surfaces, head to Walmart for washi tape, wooden utensils, and don’t forget the Palmolive® Multi Surface Dish Soap.
How do you keep your kitchen clean? Do you love washi tape as much as I do?
