Sweet Spring Party: Infused Water Bar and DIY
Here in Florida, our winter season never truly began. We are enjoying sunny days and warmer temperatures. To celebrate the arrival of spring, I stopped by a craft store to check out their party, decor, and craft items to create a sweet themed party.
My local store makes it easy to shop for a celebration since everything is organized by theme, color, and of course, the amazing seasonal section! For my party set up, I wanted to create a theme of fresh fruit, bright colors, and a sunny spring celebration.
Spring Party Decor
The aqua, red, and white theme of this cherry party conveys my “life is sweet” spring theme, and the entire tablescape was under $100!
Infused Water Bar
An easy to serve guests is with cool water with a twist! You can serve cherry lime infused water (or, in our case, strawberries since they are in season here in Florida right now!). It’s delicious and matches the spring theme.
Set up sliced fruit so guests can mix and match their favorite flavors inside large mason jars.
Mason Jar DIY
To set up a few beverages before hand, use this fun DIY kit from the spring section.
It includes twine, the jar covers (circle fabric pieces in a variety of patterns), and the tags.
You can serve up beverages with a sweet touch.
Party Backdrop DIY
Another way that I added in a DIY element to this event was with a rustic themed backdrop for the party table.
To make your own, grab a wooden hanging piece from Hobby Lobby, add a few coats of chalk paint, and you are good to go! The bright white chalk paint is a nice touch to this spring display.
Cherry Wall Decor
Wall decor doubles as party decorations when it matches the theme. I couldn’t pass up these sweet cherry signs. The pair is colorful and were on sale.
