Superhero Sweet Treat: Valentine’s Day Cards
If you’re looking for easy and unique Valentine’s Day gifts and card ideas, I’ve been sharing a few through the ‘Tis the Season link up. Today’s idea is simple enough that you can hand off to your kiddos to complete.
I like to go all out for the holidays, but sometimes you need to stick to a budget. This is one of those Valentine’s Day card ideas that is cost efficient. You can supply gifts to the entire class for a few dollars. IF that! You might already have stickers and construction paper!
Here’s what you need:
- Lollipops
- Construction paper
- Valentine’s Day stickers
Start by cutting your colorful construction paper into “capes.” The shape should be narrower at the top than the bottom and be several inches long (about the same length as the lollipop stick).
Cut a hole in the center top of each “cape” to slide the lollipop through. Embellish with stickers, markers, or other paper crafting goodies.
You can even add a sweet message like “You’re my hero!” For just a few dollars, this is a sweet surprise to share! These superhero Valentine’s Day cards are perfect for a classroom party.
