Polka Dots & Prosecco: A Classy Birthday Party
Karen & I both have birthdays in December, so we wanted to share our ideas for a “classy birthday party.” If you know me personally, you might argue that I’ve never had a classy party for my birthday. Mine involve too many cocktails and long nights in pink limos, Hanson concerts, or bar hopping (my last three birthdays, respectively). I’m getting closer to thirty, so perhaps the days of drinking and being crazy are coming to a close. Wait, who am I kidding?
For my birthday this year, we are heading south to Key West. A proper Duval Street bar crawl and a sunset boat ride is in my future. If I was having a party at home or perhaps for a friend, I love the idea of a classic house party. Too much wine, good food, and silly party games. I created a Polka Dots & Prosecco party. I am obsessed (OBSESSED) with all the glittery gold stuff from Threshold at Target right now. And, the best part, is they keep releasing MORE. I saw a few Cheers tumblers, drink pitchers, and other holiday themed items recently at Target. Those are definitely on my wish list! As are all the above items…
