Mickey and Minnie Storage Jars

Are you ready to bring Disney to your home? We have been looking at an unprecedented closing of our favorite theme parks this month, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring the magic home. This very simple craft uses supplies that you probably already have at home, OR you can quickly grab Dollar Tree craft supplies to make this. Consider upcycling old jars and toys to make these cute storage jars on a budget.

Mickey and Minnie Storage Jars

You will need two plastic jars, small Mickey and Minnie Mouse figurines or old toys, white paint, ribbon, and glue.

To get started, remove the lids from the jars and start painting them with white paint. When the paint is dry, tie a ribbon around each lid and secure it in place with glue.

Place glue on the bottom of the feet of the Mickey and Minnie figurines and attach them to the top of each lid. Easy peasy!

Use these jars to store craft supplies like glue sticks or crayons or office supplies like paper clips and rubber bands. The possibilities are truly endless with this simple craft. You can switch out the figurines with any other of your favorite characters, but I love the Mickey and Minnie combination.
