Take a look at these five Dollar Tree frugal fall centerpieces you can make in just minutes.
1. Candy Corn Votive Holder. Buy one medium sized glass vase and fill it ¾ of the way with candy corns. Add one of the battery operated votives and you have the perfect fall centerpiece. You will find many vases to choose from as well as battery votives in various sizes and finishes. I do this one every year since I never know what else to do with candy corns! It’s simple and cute.
Glowing Leaf Luminary. Buy a medium sized vase, some white school glue, and some silk fall leaves. Remove the leaves from the stems and glue them to the outside of the vase. You can finish with a ribbon wrapped around the vase if you wish. Add a battery operated votive and you are all set.
Pumpkin Votive Holder. Snag some crafting foam in the craft supply aisle, some glue, scissors, and one of the small square vases. Cut a jack-o-lantern face out of black foam and apply it to the front of the vase. Add a battery operated votive or wax one. When you light it the pumpkin face will really shine.
DIY Fall Flower Centerpiece. Choose one of the more shallow floral vases and snag a piece of florist foam. Cut the foam to fit inside of the vase. Grab some silk fall flowers that appeal to you and press them into the foam. Keep adding until the vase is full and the arrangement is to your liking. You can finish with a Halloween themed pick or some fall ribbon.
Candy Corn Vase. Buy some crafting foam and a small round vase. Cut some orange, yellow, and white foam in strips and glue it around the vase to resemble a candy corn. Add some fall silk flowers or a candle for the finishing touch.
Don’t forget that your local store will also have baskets, artificial gourds (as shown in the photo above), and simple glassware for fall as well.
: If I spy burlap ribbon on their shelves, I make sure to stock up! I usually use it for table decor or to give a pumpkin a more unique decoration. Bonus
