Florida Aquarium Events: Saturdays with Santa

Our family has been extra festive already this holiday season. The calendar has barely hit December and we are already overflowing with Christmas spirit. Also, we really like sharks. Which is why we were so excited to check out The Florida Aquarium to celebrate the SEAson.

Santa Claus and sharks together? It was like a Sharkmas miracle.

Every Saturday from now through Christmas, kids can meet Santa himself from 10:30 a.m. to 1;30 p.m. and get their pictures taken with exclusive underwater backdrops*.

On Saturday, Dec. 9, kids can attend The Florida Aquariumโ€™s โ€œBreakfast with Santaโ€ from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Santa and his animal friends will join your family and take photos during a special buffet breakfast. Space is limited. Register now. Tickets are $34.95 adult non-members, $15.95 adult members, $20.95 child non-members, and $12.95 child members. Tickets includes admission and free parking. Children ages 2 and under are free.

Santa will also swim with the sharks each day when he and his elves dive in the Aquariumโ€™s Coral Reef habitat during its regularly scheduled dive presentations.

The entire aquarium takes on a holiday feel with aquatically-inspired Christmas decorations adorning the entire building.

Throughout the holidays, the Aquarium will be screening THE POLAR EXPRESSโ„ข 4-D Experience its new 4-D Theater. The film is inspired by the beloved Caldecott Medal childrenโ€™s book by Chris Van Allsburg and guests can feel the snow and smell the hot cocoa with the amazing 4-D effects.

Even after Christmas has passed, you can still enjoy the winter festivities with Snow Days at the Aquarium. Guests can enjoy a real snow play area for kids starting Dec. 26 and through Dec. 31 from noon to 5:00 p.m.
