Dinosaur Birthday Party

Dinosaur Birthday Party
I was able to get some party supplies from Minted, so I went with a dinosaur theme. The colors, blue and green, were fun and I knew I could find a lot of things in this theme. Easy!
We had both cake and dinosaur cupcakes. The cake went FAST! I had a few pictures in Ikea frames around with snaps of Cannon from the past year. The Happy Birthday banner was also from Minted.
The Dinosaur book ended up being one of my favorite things from the party. I passed around Sharpies and everyone who came signed the book.
We also had a book as a guestbook at our baby shower, so I think this will become a yearly tradition. Bonus points if I can continue to find children’s books that match the party theme.
Cannon had a BUSY day with three outfit changes and a long nap in between (that’s why a lot of the photo booth pictures DO NOT have the birthday boy in them!). He got a lot of presents (including Calliou!), and he played, swam, and ate cake. I mean, what a perfect day! I shared our Cake Smash experience in a previous post.
