Christmas Bricktacular at LEGOLAND Florida

Traditional Holiday Favorites Come to Life with a Unique LEGO® Twist

It is that time of year where we should all be building memories that will last us a lifetime.

At LEGOLAND Florida, you can construct those holiday memories brick-by-brick during their Christmas Bricktacular celebration, running now through Christmas Day. Just like the LEGO toys themselves, this unique family-friendly event lets you create your the Christmas fantasy land by letting your imagination roam free. Some assembly required.

The full event runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec 15-16 and Dec 22-25. All Christmas Bricktacular events are included with your admission.

From the moment you walk through the gates, you will be surrounded by holiday decor, built from the ground up using only traditional LEGO blocks. One of the first awe-inspiring builds you will notice is the 30-foot tall LEGO tree. Each night during the event, this tree will light up in song and dance as part of the park’s Holly Jolly Jubilee live show. Santa’s elves are ready to send Saint Nick to the North Pole in this interactive show that will have guests singing along to songs of the season.

Want to take Christmas photos? LEGOLAND has you covered with holiday-themed decorations throughout the park including a life-sized model of Santa, Santa’s reindeer and sleigh, a giant holiday wreath and a friendly snowman. There is even a special meet-and-greet opportunity available with LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldier.

When the creative holiday spirit hits you, be sure to check out the “Holidays Around the World” LEGO Mosaic Build with a Master Model Builder, a LEGO Christmas tree build and a holiday-themed competition build when kids can use their imagination to create something spectacular for a chance to win a LEGO prize.

There’s also a “Santa’s Helper Scavenger Hunt” in MINILAND USA and the “Letters to Santa” station where your kids can make their case to stay off the naught list this Christmas with postage paid to the North Pole.

If food is what will put you in the spirit, check out the Cheerful Churros and delicious Pumpkin Spice Granny’s Apple Fries.

Of course, all of the other attractions that make LEGOLAND a great spot to take the family at any point in the year are still available. Our son recently hit the magical milestone that enables him to be tall enough for all of the rides at the park. Now he can’t get enough of all of the roller coasters that are perfectly suited for kids his age. (Grandpa even had fun on them as well).

When it’s all over, don’t forget to take home some souvenirs you can build yourself. At LEGO Factory store, guests can build their own ornament and purchase the perfect gift for everyone in the family. Plus, shoppers receive an exclusive LEGO Christmas Carousel with a $100 purchase in the Big Shop, while annual pass holders receive an exclusive LEGO Christmas Gift with a $100 purchase. Supplies are limited.

For even more fun, book a spot at LEGO Santa’s Christmas Workshop, a special VIP experience where guests can interact with LEGO characters, snack on tasty seasonal treats, meet a Master Model Builder and create an exclusive LEGO model to take home. Can’t make it in time for Christmas? Check out the special New Year’s Celebration for kids. From December 26-31, guests can continue to enjoy the park’s holiday festivities with the “New Beginnings Celebration,” an amazing nightly fireworks show filled with dance parties and special LEGO building activities. On Monday, Dec. 31 ring in the new year with a LEGO brick-drop countdown to midnight Kid Standard Time (that’s 8 p.m. to moms and dads), a kid-centric dance party and a dazzling fireworks display enhanced by complimentary fireworks viewing glasses which make it appear as if LEGO bricks are exploding in the sky. All activities are included with park admission.

And don’t forget to keep checking back since LEGOLAND Florida has a lot of exciting new attractions currently planned for next year, including the LEGO MOVIE WORLD, scheduled to open in spring of 2019.
