To stock our pantry with everything we needed for making simple lunches, we headed to Walmart to look for Lorissa’s Kitchen®. I found Korean Barbeque Beef Strips and Original Beef Strips along with the Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Cuts. I learned how Lorissa, a working mom, started Lorissa’s Kitchen. With a love for simple ingredients and nourishing snacks, this brand was born!
Lorissa’s Kitchen has 100% Grass-Fed Beef and 100% All-Natural, Raised Without Antibiotics Chicken Breast & Turkey Breast. With no Preservatives, no Added Growth Hormones, no Added MSG, and no Added Nitrites, I know that it can make the perfect bento box companion.
How to Make a Bento Box
To get started, grab plastic containers with lids. You can also find metal ones too if you’d like to avoid plastic. The compartments help you organize each lunch item, and it helps me stay organized too. I know I need a protein, a fruit, a vegetable, etc. My son also likes to help fill each container!
Lorissa’s Kitchen is a great and easy option to fill your own lunch box. Pair with crackers, cheese, fruit, salad, or whatever your mind can think of!

Mason Jar Salads: There are tons of different salads that can be put in Mason Jars and they stay fresh for the entire week. If you stack them the correct way, you will be amazed! Pile in leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, cheese, and top with Lorissa’s Kitchen.
Bento Box With Brown Rice: Replace one of the compartments with brown rice! Try grilled chicken, brown rice, and Lorissa’s Kitchen. A sweet spicy sauce, like sriracha, could be an awesome dip for the chicken.
