Are you ready to celebrate Easter? We certainly are. This year we are keeping it stress-free, and we have a few tips to make the Easter magic at home with less stress.
This time of year is hectic, and there is no shame in looking for simple solutions to help your busy family. Something that I like to focus on is asking myself what can I do to make the day go smoother. It might be a simple time-saving hack or a money-saving menu. I’ve written about affordable Easter basket supplies, Easter basket bucket lists, and today, I’m going to share a few hacks for Easter morning.
You don’t have to dye ALL the eggs. It’s okay to not set up a giant egg dying station and get messy. In fact, we usually don’t. While I know this may take away some of the joy from the holiday, my son prefers his eggs as candy that come with a surprise toy on the side. Whether we make them or buy them doesn’t matter, but if you want to buy them, look for Finders KeepersTM!
Finders KeepersTM is the milk chocolate candy egg that features a toy surprise in every box. The best part about this is that you can look for all of your favorite characters like L.O.L. Surprise! and Peppa Pig. There’s a chocolate candy egg AND a toy inside each box, and they are the final touch for the perfect Easter basket.
You can find them on Amazon, and we loved putting together the toys inside as a family. Our favorites were the Everyday Heroes. We loved how they pay homage to those heroes who support us in our everyday life.
You can also find them at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and Kroger.
More Time-Saving Tips
Make breakfast ahead of time! Either create overnight oatmeal or set something up in the slow cooker. You can also just pop some cinnamon rolls in the oven. No need to go all out when company is coming over, and there are Easter eggs to hide! 😉
Set up an Easter buffet. Let guests serve themselves so you can have more fun spending time with family. You can even order food – who says you have to cook everything?
Let the little ones help. My son loves to set the table or put away things. He also doesn’t mind helping in the kitchen. I try to include him to help take a task out of my hands, and we can enjoy the day together.
