When I completed my first Whole30 a few years ago, there was nothing convenient about it. I had to prepare all of my meals from scratch, and the concept of “to go” was non-existent. I had a hard time trying to plan ahead for weekend getaways, and it became hard to maintain. However, I am thrilled that there are easy to find and delicious options now for Whole30-ers! I recently discovered Zupa Noma, and I have fallen in loveeee! They will be a perfect option for your next Whole30, and here are a few tips to help you survive those thirty days!
Whole 30 Survival Guide
Don’t just use Google. Read the Whole30 books and cookbooks for inspiration – they exist for a reason! If you compile all of your research from forums and websites, you won’t truly have the full picture of what Whole30 is.
Make a Whole30 compliant pantry and fridge. If you get rid of the unhealthy snacks and sugar, it will be much easier! Take inventory of items you need to give away or donate or can use after your Whole30 is over (if desired). Make a list of essentials that you need (for example, I go through a TON of coconut oil on a Whole30), and shop sales to help you affordably stock up.
Stock up on Whole30 approved items. This is where Zupa Noma comes in. These are superfood soups that are certified organic produce. They use sustainably sourced veggies when possible (this is important to have less food waste!). Plus, there are superfood ingredients like apple cider vinegar and chlorella spirulina.
Zupa Noma blends whole vegetables from seeds to the skin so you are drinking every bit of each vegetable’s vitamins and fiber. No wasted produce or pulp – win, win!
Zupa Noma also uses high-pressure processing (HPP) to keep them safe to consume while making sure the flavor and nutritional power isn’t compromised.
Become knowledgable about what is in your food.
About HPP: HPP is cold pasteurization in pure water; it uses ultra-high pressure purified water to keep food and beverages pathogen-free and to stay fresh longer. Food and beverages are subjected 87,000 lbs. of pressure per sq. inch –– the same amount of pressure as six times the deepest part of the ocean. At this very high pressure pathogens are destroyed, but food’s taste, texture and nutritional value is preserved.
About Avure /JBT Technologies: JBT/Avure is a leading global maker of HPP machines. JBT/Avure’s HPP food processing machines offer the highest output, lowest operating costs, and greatest reliability for food producers and manufacturers. JBT/Avure helps producers increase food safety and extend shelf life while providing consumers with nutritious, natural, flavorful food.
