1 ½ cups of chopped cranberries
¼ cup of sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 egg, beaten slightly
1 cup buttermilk
3 Tbsp butter, melted
Johnsonville Vermont Maple Syrup Breakfast Sausages – on the side!
Mix together cranberries and sugar and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl add egg, buttermilk, and butter. Add to the flour mixture.
Stir until lumpy and then add in the cranberries!
Cook as desired. We like to use a griddle on medium heat until they are just right!
