There was once a time in my life that I would take a taxi (yes, before Uber was a thing) to the Hard Rock Tampa after a long night out for late night snacks and slots. We would listen to music until 5 a.m., and we loved the high energy of the casino late at night. While I’m not partying it up at 5 a.m. anymore, I am still a fan of the Hard Rock! From cocktails to cards, there is something for everyone.
I was recently invited to try Fresh Harvest for brunch, and I was oh so excited to hear about those bottomless mimosas. The casino has changed since I had last visited, but one thing stayed the same–free parking! Yes, free parking is back, and it makes it easy to get in and out of the Hard Rock. The smoke-free casino addition was amazing to see plus the new-to-me restaurants.
Fresh Harvest was located upstairs and was hard to miss. The entryway is organized and efficient as you check in and wait to be seated. Once we arrived, our server was amazing at helping us get familiar with all of our buffet choices. Plus, she knew how to keep the bubbly flowing which was clearly important!
Champagne Brunch at Fresh Harvest is Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can enjoy bottomless champagne and mimosas along with brunch specialties like crepes, Belgium waffles, and eggs benedict. The classics are available too like bacon and eggs, grits and toast.
My guest and I knew we wanted a little bit of everything, and I wanted to try a few new things. Can you believe I’ve NEVER had eggs benedict? I’m not sure why I’ve never ordered it before. Maybe I thought it would be too intimidating to eat or I wasn’t so sure about runny eggs. Either way, this eggs benedict from Fresh Harvest was AMAZING. I have been missing out for so long!
We also created our own crepes, which again, was new to me. I have never had a crepe quite like this. We opted for Nutella and bananas topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was a decadent brunch option that blew me away.
Paired with a glass of bubbly, and we were happy brunchers!
What I enjoyed most about Fresh Harvest was the ambiance. There were families, couples, tourists, and locals. The price, at $34.95, felt like a bargain after we had eaten our way around the restaurant.
If you’re in the mood for other options, they have other ideas at the Mongolian Grill, a pasta station, pizza, and more. There’s an ice cream bar plus cookies and desserts.
If you’re visiting Tampa or are a local and want to change it up, try the casino. I have my eye on Rez the next time we go for those unique cocktails.
