How to Set Up a Tuna Taco Bar
The star of the fish taco bar is Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna. We like to choose recipe ingredients that don’t have unnecessary ingredients and have a company mission that matters. I find it very important that we protect our natural resources so that my family can continue to enjoy sustainable seafood. We should all strive to eat sustainable seafood. Wild Selections sources its wild-caught seafood only from ocean areas that have been certified sustainable to the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Standard. MSC is the world’s leading certification program for wild-caught, sustainable seafood. Wild Selections donates 13 cents from the sale of each can to support World Wildlife Fund’s efforts to protect marine life and expand sustainable fishing practices. Since my husband is a fisherman and general all-around outdoorsman, it is important!

Once you have your main ingredient for your taco bar, start by creating a seasoned cabbage slaw. You can let it marinade to make those flavors really come together. We used cabbage, carrots, jalapenos, vinegar, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and a dash of hot sauce.
We also prefer to eat our albacore tuna warm so we sauteed it with paprika for a few minutes.
Once the slaw is finished and the tuna is warm, you can begin to set up your tuna taco bar! Whether you want to plan a fun Cinco de Mayo party idea or need something fresh for your next family BBQ, consider a fish taco bar. It’s unique, flavorful, and it is affordable too.
You can choose to top your tortilla with cheese, sour cream, corn, salsa or fresh tomatoes, but don’t forget to use the tuna and the marinaded slaw. Those two ingredients are non-negotiable! ;)
