If you’re hosting a party or planning a tapas style dinner night, try infusing the flavors of olives with your meal. Whether you decide to host two or twenty, these two appetizers will be perfect for entertaining guests or a quiet date night at home. Use fresh ingredients including to enjoy a flavorful meal meant to be shared.
Since I am always experimenting with easy recipes, I decided to take two simple combinations and add these flavorful olives to the recipes. Pearls® Specialties is a brand that is family owned and has been around for over 75 years. You will appreciate that the brand works with farmers from Greece to bring the finest olives, which is why you can tell the difference in taste and crunch.
I wanted to try all of their varieties including Pitted Kalamata, Garlic Stuffed Olives, and Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives. Find them on Amazon or use the brand’s store locator for other retailers.
The garlic stuffed olives are easy for snacking – simply add to a toothpick for a fast Easter appetizer! Or, try the pitted kalamata for this easy spinach salad!
After an awesome appetizer, try serving this spinach side salad. Paired with olive oil, fresh olives, and flavorful artisan cheese, this salad is anything but ordinary!
- Baby spinach leaves
- black olives, diced
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- pepper jack cheese, sliced
- olive oil, 2 tbsp for dressing
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Toss with extra olive oil for flavor. Serve immediately!
Use deli cheese for an extra flavor that complements the fresh olives perfectly.
