Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Stay warm with this winter with a cozy bowl of soup!
We recently had a cold snap here in Florida. We had lows in the 50’s for like three straight days. It was horrible. And while many of you might be able to look out your window and see snow piled up on your front lawn, you probably don’t understand our suffering. We live with 90-degree heat 92 percent of the year. Just two weeks ago I was out fishing in flip-flops and shorts. The suffering is real.
So when the temperature drops below 60 down here, we go into full into full winter mode. That means calling out of work so we can huddle under seven layers of blankets and eat hot soup. The problem is that sometimes making a homemade soup can be time intensive. Nobody wants to spend time in the kitchen that could be better spent binge watching Game of Thrones while commiserating with the plight of the Night Watch soldiers every time I have to open a door to let the dogs out.
Fortunately, Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups has you covered when you need a nice big bowl of hearty soup without a lot of fuss. All you need is water and about five minutes to get flavorful, slow-cooked taste of restaurant-quality soup at home.
Idahoan Steakhouse Soups use real, red Idaho® potatoes combined with flavorful seasonings and rich cheeses to provide a creamy taste in every spoonful. They are available in four delicious flavor varieties: Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Cheddar Potato. You can enjoy REAL red Idaho potatoes with flavorful seasonings and rich cheeses in every bite.
One of the best parts about these soups is that since they are so easy to make, you can even finish it off with your favorite extras like freshly grated cheese, bacon bits or a dollop of sour cream to make it a perfect companion when you are trying to hide from those frigid 58-degree conditions. Those extras are optional though – the soup is phenomenal on its own! Winter is here. I need some soup.
