Is it fall yet? I’m anxiously counting down the days until hurricane season ends, cooler weather arrives in Florida, and weekends are spent outdoors in pumpkin patches or at carnivals. Instead, we have spent the last part of summer hunkering down for a hurricane, preparing for a loss of power and water, and stocking our pantries with essentials for after the storm. We were so lucky. While my family has no power and water (going on day #3 now!), we have all of our utilities…and a fully stocked kitchen! Before the storm hit, we headed to Walmart to pick up a few last minute items to be our storm snacks! Keep reading to see how we discovered TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks and how they kept us full during a scary storm.
As I already mentioned, we headed to Walmart to fill our pantries with easy to serve snacks. We found TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks in the cookie/cracker aisle and picked our favorite flavor: chocolate! I had seen them before in the stores, but I had yet to try them myself.
They are a cute bear-shaped snack with no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, and no artificial colors. Neat, right? Plus, they are made with milk, eggs, and chocolate.
Snacking on the go was easy since they are individually wrapped. We were able to take a box with us on the road for simple snacks, and my son liked the chocolate flavor. It was a nice way to forget that the storm was coming with a sweet snack that we felt good about eating. It lifted my son’s spirits, and now we have a few extra for lunch box surprises.
