It’s hot. We live in Florida and every day is full of sunshine, afternoon thunderstorms, and a high temperature! It is important to stay hydrated and cool throughout the day, especially during the back to school season, and Tum-E Yummies fruit flavored water beverages seal the deal. With five flavors, my son enjoys them on the go!To celebrate heading back to school, we decided to get a little creative with his lunches to help make lunchtime more fun.
How to Make Lunchtime Fun
Prepare a bento box! Bento boxes can be as simple or as difficult as you want them to be. We like to use cupcake liners to separate fruits and vegetables as sides.
Use cookie cutters for a creative sandwich. Do you have to cut the crusts off your child’s sandwich? Me too! Lunchtime gets upgraded with these shaped cookie cutters.
You can turn a sandwich into something unique OR add sprinkles to a regular old PB&J sandwich.
Give character to your child’s lunch! Get them involved. My son loves to help in the kitchen, and these plastic cookie cutters are perfect for him. He feels a sense of pride when he helps get his lunch ready.
Let them pick their favorite flavors to make lunchtime an event. This might help ease a child’s nerves as they head back to school since it gives them something to look forward to.
My son’s favorite flavor, Tum-E Yummies Greentastic Apple, pairs nicely with his lunches during busy school days. All Tum-E Yummies flavors have 100% daily value vitamin C, B6, B12 and 50 calories and 13g of sugar. They also have no sodium and a spill-proof sport cap. The cap is helpful since it keeps him hydrated on the go!
Don’t forget a lunch love note!
