Goals are more than just items on a to-do list. Why does it seem like some people are better at achieving their goals than others? Well, some people don’t fail since have are FOCUSED on what it is they need to do. They also have clear and specific goals that are not too outrageous to attain. Here are a few quick tips to help you reach your new goals for 2017.
How to Set Attainable Fitness Goals
Write clear and specific goals. This one seems obvious, but yet I seem to keep writing “be healthier” in my planner. What does that mean exactly? Does that mean I have to take a walk every day? Lower my calorie intake? Try a new health and fitness product? I knew that I needed to do more research to figure out what it is that I wanted, and I looked up Thrive Reviews. I have been hearing a lot about the products, and I needed to see what was up.
I looked at the THRIVE W, THRIVE Mix, and THRIVE Premium Lifestyle DFT. THRIVE W is a premium formula in a lifestyle capsule. It is made for women who need to reach daily lifestyle goals since it has vitamins, minerals, plant extracts, anti-oxidants, enzymes, pro-biotics, and amino acids. It can help with weight management, cognitive performance, healthy joints, and digestive and immune support.
THRIVE Mix is a shake mix that comes in chocolate, vanilla, and even apple pie! THRIVE Premium Lifestyle DFT is derma fusion technology which means that it infuses the skin with the lifestyle formula. It’s not a capsule or shake. It is worn to help you achieve premium results. If you use this product in conjunction with the THRIVE Premium Lifestyle Capsule and the THRIVE Premium Lifestyle Shake Mix, it can promote clean and healthy weight management and an overall healthy lifestyle.
After my research, I knew that my clear and specific goal would be to follow the 8-week program with THRIVE.
Every goal needs set actionable tasks. Any goal that I write down (or will write down!) should have the “why” and the “how” included! For example, if I want to exercise every day, I need to say “I will walk every morning at 8AM for twenty minutes.”
Schedule everything. When you set a goal, write it in your calendar! Schedule time for your big goals, even if it is as simple as a daily walk. I am using Google Calendar to block off my time, and I can see my goals right alongside my appointments. This is a good strategy so that you can hold yourself accountable, but you can also be realistic about how long everything takes.
Do the work. You won’t achieve your goal if you don’t do the work, right? Spend a few minutes in the morning looking at your calendar and blocking off your time. Make sure that you set aside time to focus on your goal.
Repeat! Do these steps every day. The real secret to goal setting is actually doing the work. We can sometimes get lost in to-dos, planning, and organizing our days. The best way to reach our goals is to actually put in the work. Small action taken every day over time will result in a big change.
