Happy Earth Day everyone! Usually, we celebrate a holiday with a fun cocktail but today we are sharing an Earth-friendly DIY. In the spirit of being green, and recycling and reusing, this project is a cute repurposed vase. What started out as an old bottle of non-dairy creamer, is now a cute vase by adding a couple of coats of paint. It’s such a simple thing to do!
I tend to save everything at home in hopes to find a way to reuse it. This does drive my husband a little crazy because he is such a neat freak. But I love the challenge of finding a creative new use for something that I normally would have just thrown away. As soon as this creamer bottle was empty, I knew it could be my “new” repurposed vase. Plus, I love the opportunity to paint something gold!
I used Martha Stewart multi-purpose paint in white and metallic gold to add on my stripes.
So that’s our easy and Earth friendly DIY for today. It’s just a little way to remember that you can repurpose and make something super cute too. Have a happy Earth Day!
Is there something that you’ve repurposed in a crafty way? We’d love to know!
