Do you need new recipe inspiration for fall? I have just the appetizer for you! This sandwich idea reminds me of both my home in Tampa Bay, Florida but also of simple childhood lunches. I shopped my local grocery store for Boar’s Head SmokeMaster™ Black Forest Ham to create a deliciously smoked sandwich topped with cheese. I loved that this ham was already smoked, and it was the BEST addition to a regular sandwich.
I created a ham and swiss muffin loaded with creamy dijon mustard and topped with pickles. It’s almost a Cuban sandwich but somehow better. The crisp bread loaded with Boar’s Head SmokeMaster™ Black Forest Ham made it even tastier!
