I have mentioned before that my husband works nights and weekends typically. It depends on the season, but his hours can be quite interesting. I used to have a simple meal that I stuck to, but now that he isn’t home for most dinners I gave it up. I now just make sure me and my toddler are fed! My husband usually fends for himself or finishes leftovers, but now he doesn’t have to compromise taste and time! We discovered STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Steak Fajita and STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Cilantro Lime Chicken as perfect additions to our freezer for quick protein-packed meals in a hurry!
I stopped by Walmart to pick up the new STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen products, specifically STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Steak Fajita and STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Cilantro Lime Chicken. STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen recipes are flavor-packed meals with 25 grams or more of satisfying protein. Other varieties include Rotisserie Seasoned Turkey, Bourbon Steak, Oven Roasted Chicken, and Monterey Chicken.
STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Steak Fajita is prime rib steak in a smoked red chile sauce with a mix of red and green peppers along with seasoned brown rice. This one is my husband’s favorite since it combines sweet and spicy in a delicious combination. It’s satisfying after a long night at the office, and it is a great weekend recipe to enjoy wherever he might be. Whether he takes this dish to the office or enjoys it at home in pajamas, it’s a simple option for a quick meal.
I also picked up STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen Cilantro Lime Chicken which was chicken with black bean and corn mix along with seasoned brown rice.
These balanced dishes are so convenient since they take just ten minutes to prepare. For a no fuss dessert or side dish, try making a fruit salad. This is the time of year when my husband craves fresh fruit to cool off. Whether it’s grapefruit, oranges, or mangoes fresh from our tree, we love to make simple fruit salads to pair with almost all of our meals.
The bright hues of the fruit make everything look just right for summer. Pair kiwis with strawberries, bananas with oranges, and season with a dash of honey and a sweet strawberry sauce.

I love how simple and nice looking that fruit salad is! Something I know my family would enjoy and benefit from. And I could easily customize each plate for each persons likings.
