Sleep is something so many of us struggle with, right? I know I do! Being a busy mom and working from home, I know I’m always forgetting one important thing to take care of: myself! If I don’t take care of myself, I can’t take care of everything else I need to do, but sometimes, it’s so easy to forget that I need to take a break to relax. Since I have a toddler and a husband who primarily works nights and weekends, bedtime routines are kind of my thing. When I struggle with getting my son to sleep on time after a bath and a book, I know that the next day will be a mess. I have to enforce a strict bedtime so that we all can have a productive day. In order to rest easy, we need to snack well.
We have to get a better night’s sleep every night. How many of us are up working until we can’t keep our eyes open anymore? There’s just not enough time to do it all, which is why I know I need to prioritize and take the time every night to wind down. Nothing says a nice end to the day like curling up with a good book and a nice snack!
This spiced popcorn and cinnamon recipe is quick and easy to make, and spiced popcorn and cinnamon can help you fall asleep! I love the cinnamon spice because it’s invigorating, but it also helps me relax before I fall asleep.
All you need is some popcorn (microwave works fine for this!) and some cinnamon (even kettle corn will work if you want even more sweetness), and sprinkle the cinnamon (about 2 tbsp) over the popcorn. If you love chocolate, you can even put some in some chocolate candies and let them melt all over the popcorn.
With this quick snack, I fall asleep faster, which means I sleep longer, and I can wake up, feeling more rested, and ready to take on my day! Finding ways to fix your sleeping habits and make them better can completely change your day and your long-term health!

I like having cereal when I have a snack before bed. It is probably because that was my snack as a little girl.

Well I could for sure use this. I have been having terrible sleeps lately, and I could use any help with it. Sooner rather than later.

Cinnamon delivers a lot of health benefits. I read in one article that it also helps lower blood sugar levels. I can’t wait to make cinnamon popcorn for my family.

Sounds super yum. I love cinnamon and have a wonderful chamomile tea that has cinnamon in it. I like to put a dash of turmeric in it too because of the anti inflammatory property to help with my arthritis. I like the idea of the kettle corn with the cinnamon. Yum.
Paula Schuck says
I have been making this for years but I didn’t know it could help me sleep. I will be trying this from now on at night because I always have trouble sleeping.

My Mom used to make homemade cinnamon popcorn when we were kids. When I got older, I could never master the kennel popping like she did. I always manage to burn it.
