Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Whether it’s a Sunday Funday brunch or a simple morning meal on the go, I need something that has protein to get me moving and a sweet flavor to give my morning a boost! I found both of those in Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups. There is nothing like this before now! It’s crunchy. Cool. Yum.
I was inspired by the flavor and created a simple bacon and feta omelette to complete my breakfast today. It complements the new Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups and only needs cold milk! The dry ingredients transform into a tasty yogurt treat which partners nicely with my bacon, eggs, and feta cheese breakfast.
I found the Quaker product located in the cereal aisle. It was right on top shelf near the other ready-to-eat cereals. I picked up three flavors: Strawberry Almond, Apple Cinnamon, and Raspberry Pecan. It is satisfying with 25 grams of whole grains and 10 grams of protein with 1/2 cup of cold Skim Milk. What’s not to love about a satisfying and delicious breakfast?
It’s also SIMPLE. Just add cold milk, stir, and EAT!
Real Medleys is a blend of yogurt and multigrain granola with real fruit and crunchy nuts. I really liked that it was filled with real ingredients that offer quality and convenience for breakfast. It’s also a great way to take breakfast to the office. Since it’s a single serve cup, you don’t need to worry about preparing this on the go! It is the first shelf-stable convergence of granola, fruit, and yogurt.
If you want to add something extra to your morning meal, try an omelet! I love enjoying fluffy eggs in the morning, and it paired with the granola and yogurt parfait nicely.
I scrambled eggs with feta cheese and turkey bacon. I added a cucumber yogurt dressing and wrapped it in a tortilla. It’s a breakfast burrito with a bit of a twist!
- 2 large eggs, scrambled
- 2 tbsp feta cheese crumbles
- 2 slices of turkey bacon, cooked
- 1 tbsp cucumber yogurt dressing
- Prepare eggs in a large skillet on medium heat. Stir in feta cheese.
- Cook turkey bacon according to package instructions.
- Warm tortilla in the microwave for five seconds.
- Fill tortilla with eggs, cheese, and bacon.
- Top with cucumber yogurt dressing.
