We are so happy that spring is finally here! I have been doing a lot more with my son outdoors lately, and we have been keeping our calendar full with park play dates and creative crafts. One activity that I had been wanting to try was spending the day at the playground before heading home to paint. Since we are always dreaming up fun things to do in our neighborhood and around the house, it is SO important that I keep a steady supply of PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes on hand. You just never know when you’re going to need them… 😉
Today started off like any other sunny day. We headed to the park to meet up with new friends and kids ranging in age from babies to preschoolers. We ran, jumped, skipped through the sprinklers, and slid down the slides. We ate sticky snacks, spilled juice everywhere, and found new ways to eat cereal. And then…we painted. I wanted to try to make my own edible fingerpaint that would taste good, smell even better, and hold up to my toddler’s painting demands. He LOVES to get messy and color everywhere. From markers to crayons, my little man can’t get enough.
To make the most of our day, I created this fingerpaint recipe using items I already had on hand. I also made sure to stop by Walmart to pick up PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes. I found the 70-count Clean Refreshing Scent Canister in the household cleaning aisle. It was easy to spot, and they are so handy to have! PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes are available in 70-count and 35-count canisters. Want to try them for yourself? Beginning on May 17th, be on the lookout for a coupon in the Sunday paper. You can also save now!
To wipe out germs on hands and start your spring clean, pass the PURELL®! It’s a new product sold in an aisle of your local Walmart that you might have missed. It’s important to practice good hand hygiene, especially when you’re on the go! From the park to our home, I need to freshen up and make sure my little dude is fresh and clean. PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes are perfect for those moments when I need to clean my son’s hands from playground germs and to get clean after a messy afternoon of painting!

I’m a sucker for sprinkles so I added some colorful candy to each jar of paint. My son enjoyed the extra texture, and the sprinkles were fun to paint with! We used his easel outdoors and came up with a few vibrant creations.
I didn’t mind my son getting messy since I knew that PURELL® Hand Sanitizing Wipes are formulated to remove soils and kill illness-causing germs on the hands as well as maintain skin condition. They are gentle enough for our family’s hands and faces.

When fingerpainting is over, my son knew how to clean his hands (and face!).
Our home had a new family masterpiece, and we were on the way to our next activity.
If you have a busy family, don’t leave home without PURELL®! Stay protected and clean while making your own messy masterpieces.
