Photographing fireworks can be so tricky! I did a little research on taking photos of fireworks before the 4th, but I really had no idea what I was doing. Some looked like a big mess, some had too much smoke, but then… just ONCE… I got exactly what I was looking for.
A little trial and error but that’s my one firework photo that actually came out the way I want it to. While it still is not perfect, I consider this a success. This is on our dock and my husband placed one of those firework things (I’m sure there is a more technical name) on top of one of the wooden poles.
