Thanks to Drivetime for providing the information for this#MyDriveTimeStory blog post!
I didn’t have a license until I was 18, and I didn’t buy my first car until I was 21. I spent all my teen years asking for rides to work and trying to find a creative way to one day drive. When I turned 21, I was mentally and financially prepared to have a car. After saving, going through college, and securing a job, I was able to use DriveTime to get accepted to buy my first car! Here’s #MyDriveTimeStory.
DriveTime is the nation’s largest dealer helping people with credit issues purchase a reliable car. There are over 139 dealerships over the US, and they have thousands of vehicles in stock. They are all thoroughly inspected for your safety and security, and there is such a wide variety of cars available.
Since I was 21 when I went to buy my first car, my credit was less than spotless. I hadn’t had a credit card or a loan. I also didn’t have a hefty down payment available. Luckily DriveTime had a friendly dealership and the process was painless! I remember walking into that dealership with a small down payment and low expectations. However, I was thrilled to find almost NEW cars on the lot! I picked out a shiny silver Hyundai that had under 20,000 miles on it. It was practically new. The price was fair, and I drove off the lot that day with my “brand new” car.
The Approval process was simple, and there is a video that you can watch to learn more. Most dealership staff is college educated, and they aren’t there to push a sale. They truly wanted to help get me in a car with low monthly payments and we came to a quick solution for what I needed.
DriveTime’s industry-leading online auto loan application is 100% personalized to you and your credit including credit score, CreditRank score, and required down payment
