When you’re planning your next summer soiree or a girls night out, don’t forget the PAMA. If you haven’t tried the sweet flavor of this pomegranate liqueur, you’re going to need to try these recipes! I made a strawberry lemonade last week with the flavor of PAMA, and this week I have two simple recipes for perfect parties.
PAMA is made with all-natural pomegranate juice, vodka, and imported tequila. It has a vibrant red color and is bottled at 34 proof. It’s the kind of liqueur that can be easily mixed to make cosmos, martinis, margaritas, and more. PAMA offers a sweet yet tart taste, and it was the perfect addition to my sparkling pomegranate punch.
You only need THREE ingredients to have a simple cocktail that is perfectly poured. Use a sparkling champagne (I used a pink bubbly), PAMA, and top with lots of ice and sliced key limes.
- PAMA pomegranate liqueur
- 1 bottle of pink sparkling wine or champagne
- A handful of key limes
- In a large pitcher combine one part PAMA and one part sparkling wine.
- Slice key limes and squeeze the juice into the pitcher.
- Garnish with additional sliced key limes.
While this cocktail is perfect for summer, it’s actually a sweet drink year round. I can see this being a popular fall cocktail. Just change out the key lime garnish for sliced apples. Add a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!
Though if you do want to savor those sunny summer days for a few weeks longer, break out your favorite freezer pops!
This recipe is pretty self-explanatory, but it is oh so refreshing! Grab your favorite fruit pop (bonus point if it’s pomegranate!), and place it into a wine glass or goblet.
Pour PAMA over your pop and into the glass. The liqueur melts the pop (even faster outside!), and it’s a cool slushy drink.
What makes both of these cocktails perfect for a summer party is how simple they are. Guests can serve themselves, and you can prepare PAMA in advance in a pitcher.
